but if not, there is already chatter about SEC inviting teams to join their conference and speculation about teams poaching players from teams in leagues who are shutting down.

Poaching teams and players? That's precisely why, in the end, the leagues will come to a common response of canceling football for the year. University presidents are not going to allow that shit show and the possible ramifications.
