For now, the bye is part of Kelly's record

Future investigations may lead to ND having to vacate the bye. If an authoritative body declares that we have to vacate the bye, ND will still include it in Brian Kelly's record and put a small shamrock next to it. But Swarbrick has already declared that even if we have to vacate the bye in the future, Brian Kelly will be rightfully credited for not having lost a game on the third Saturday of of October 2021.

The Kelly lovers are already doing research proving that the great ND coaches lost games on the third Saturday of Octobers proving that Kelly is a great coach deserving of a statue.
