One in which a true quid-pro-quo exists between a business, product, etc. and a player to endorse that product or business (think DJ Uiagalelei of Clemson and Dr. Pepper), or where real revenues generated from a podcast like Kyle Hamilton's Inside the Garage goes to the participating players.

And then one where the quid-pro-quo is simply an enticement for a player to sign/stay at a particular school with no real endorsement or value back to a business or product, a fake charity angle being set up, etc.
