The mistake he made

Was in making this so painfully obvious. If he had started with just targeting 5-10 guys this year to see how it would go, then steadily increased that over the next three years I don't think people would be coming after him so hard. Instead, he chose to make it blatantly obvious to even the casual observer that they stretched the "rules" as far as they could go. Perhaps the only good thing to come out of this is that it will force the issue to a head sooner, but where that ends up I have no idea.

I don't mean to sound overly cynical, I am thrilled Jimbo is facing this scrutiny - couldn't happen to a better guy. That he hides behind "17 year old kids" is laughable. I don't begrudge any family taking life-changing money. No one is coming after them, Jimbo, they are talking about you.
