I get the mentality of slow and steady, but this was always likely going to be a temporary situation, and these guys all knew (and know) it. It's coming to a head, and there will be massive changes in the next few years and that's been coming since even before NIL.

It's nice to know that these are the sort of people Notre Dame has aligned with, however.
