Why do we charge admission to the Spring Game?

Texas doesn't, they make the weekend a sort of fan fest, Texas A*M does the same.

Granted it cost's money to open the stadium and staff it, but seems like it would be a great time to encourage fans to come and bring their whole families and have a great day. It's not like we can't afford it.
