He had about 15 other offers at various levels.

He has played mostly garbage competition and wins battles by being the only big guy out there, but he moves really well for his size. He's big. He's going to need a lot of coaching on technique and adjusting to the speed and size of D1 football. The potential is there- there's a reason Ohio State and Auburn had committable offers out for him and actively recruited him.

He's nowhere near an instant impact guy, but with proper development and work ethic he could end up a damn good player.
