Is the Gug physically unable to accommodate a kitchen?

I have heard athlete nutrition is an issue, and I believe it. Players needing thousands of calories of high quality food should not be eating Subway and other fast food. Fine — but why not build a commercial kitchen at the Gug or in a nearby building?

I think our players need the best training, nutrition, and medical care the university can provide, and they shouldn’t skimp on any of those areas. But none should require a nine figure capital cost.

I’m also not sure the recruiting juice of shiny facility toys is still worth the squeeze. Would you rather have a massage chair and TV in your practice locker, or $200,000 cash money?

I think ND might be arming itself for the previous war.
