location, even though it is highly instinctual and tempting to drop down to stop a driving player, you just have to trust that the interior players will handle it and not leave the shooter alone to help out. This is a difficult temptation to master. Takes a lot of self-discipline.
To properly do that, you assign a specific defender to a each ball carrier. It often results in defenders actually running away from the ball carrier during a play.
