I hope it doesn’t spiral out of control. The truth about the hospital tragedy may not matter to either side, and it may not be absolutely knowable without impartial forensics that won’t happen.

Our interests are in preservation of the Jewish state, then containment, then humanitarian. Also, maintaining relations with current middle eastern allies. Think we’d do a lot for the first, to include direct action if necessary. Up until the point of collapse, I think we’ll arm Israel the best we can but allow the war to burn.

Kinda like Ukraine, but not sure we’d intervene to stop a collapse of Ukraine.
