Fight Like a Champion

FIGHT LIKE A CHAMPION, the first ever professional boxing event held at Notre Dame, features former Notre Dame boxing champion and current undefeated professional boxer Mike Lee.  It takes place September 16th, the night before the Fighting Irish football team battles Michigan State. Lee has pledged that all profits from this unique event will be donated to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation and the Robinson Community Learning Center in South Bend.

Sports fans are invited to watch Lee in a full training session as he finalizes preparations alongside
Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and overlooking the Chicago River outside the world renowned Wrigley Building, 400 N. Michigan Ave., on Monday, September 12th at 12 Noon.

The 24-year old Lee, a native of Wheaton, will be joined in the open workout by his legendary trainer Ronnie Shields. Lee graduated from Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business in 2009 with a Finance Degree. While at Notre Dame he won the school’s Bengal Bouts Boxing Tournament three years in a row and was a Chicago Golden Gloves Champion in 2009.

Tickets, priced at $50, $30 and $15 General Admission for students, for the FIGHT LIKE A CHAMPION professional boxing card may be purchased through the Notre Dame Athletics Ticket Office by calling 574-631-7356 or www.und.com/tickets.
