I think he's gotten decent talent...but not elite talent. Certainly not as good as talent as Weis got...and maybe Davie. Kelly is bringing in solid talent and doing nothing good/bad with it. We are stuck in the 8-4 purgatory for two main reasons: ND isn't attracting elite talent, and the talent that does enter ND isn't utilized correctly (e.g. big OLine with RB's running a pussy slow developing offensive scheme as its bread & butter)
