over all but two opponents on their schedule (OSU and ND) both of who they get at home. OSU is breaking in a brand new QB with absolutely no depth behind him and ND is certainly capable of losing in Ann Arbor as we've seen in 2013, 2011, 2009, and 2007.
They're not really a threat to beat a Clemson or Bama, but they could certainly get some luck and wind up in the playoffs similar to ND last year. I will say that I don't think they have a playoff caliber DLine, but they still have some talent there.
So... each year is unique - especially in college football.
presumably why we are rated lower than Michigan. It has a predicted loss built in.
perfect for Shea Patterson's skill set, which apparently is all that matters. Never mind that the architect of this new offense is a first time OC who has never called plays before or that the defense lost 5 guys who were picked in the first 3 rounds of the NFL draft.
Looks like they did not learn the lessons of the Rodriguez failure.
and their offense will revert back to traditional and look much better.
But maybe not, I suppose.
Overall I think he is the best QB on the roster.
I think Harbaugh is trying to catch lightning in a bottle with this other dude but Dylan is a leader and a good qb.
So does Patterson and their booger eating coach.
Ann Arbor was a gold digging whore.
So if they're frauds - they probably are - we'll find out quickly.
They probably won't lose to Army week 2, but it won't be easy. They also go to Madison and host Iowa before playing at Penn State the week before us. Then MSU and OSU in November.
