Interesting. It’s a senate confirmed position with a set term. Biden broke the norm by firing her predecessor right after Inauguration Day. This has never happened before to my knowledge. . Probably not wrong to suspect trump would return the favor.

So, some publicity whore loser is trying to get attention. *

Anyone can file a NLRB charge
by Russiandomer  (2024-04-18 19:30:23)     cannot delete  |  Edit  |  Return to Board  |  Ignore Poster   |   Highlight Poster  |   Reply to Post

You could file the same charge. Filing a charge does not mean the NLRB General Counsel (who has complete authority to choose to prosecute any charge) has done anything yet or will choose to prosecute ND (although it’s likely, based on her statements and the current case against SC).

Seems like more of a blocking foul *

NLRB doesn't require standing? What a joke

There's so much crappy legislation floating around.

This guy just goes around filing complaints against schools. Screw him.

In theory, makes sense. This guy is abusing it.

An employee may fear retaliation if he or she files the NLRB complaint. Of course, that retaliation would also be illegal but it could still deter someone. Therefore, having an advocate file on your behalf would make sense.

However, the person making the claim should have some sort of probable cause that he has become aware of a violation directly from someone at the organization. For all we know, absolutely no student-athletes at ND even want this.

Some bored guy in his basement could get drunk and decide to spend his night overwhelming the NLRB system.

It’s a New Deal era statue. Any ‘person’ can file a charge.

Quite unlike what it takes to have standing in federal court.

I don't know how it works.
