and that is a good thing. Other than taking a penalty just a minute after scoring the tie breaking goal the whole team played smart, efficient hockey over the final 20 minutes. Notre Dame's best teams always win the third period, and so far it's a plus 8.

Puck possession has been good, they're moving through the zones well and limiting turnovers, and 9 guys have at least 2 goals.

Good road weekend. Always nice to see a Notre Dame team getting the most out of their athletes and beating a team with superior raw talent.

we are consistently one of the best shot-blocking teams around. It goes through all lines and pairings and the technique is solid - getting in position, good use of sticks, and not doing the sideways silhouette which screens more than it stops the shot.
