at Notre Dame. It's less damaging when you run a competent enough offense, but that does not exactly describe Notre Dame hockey. Ohio State gives up more goals than any other B1G team and we STILL can't score 3 fucking goals.

The change of on-ice philosophy we need to see is not going to be seen. As a result we're not going to be able to recruit the kinds of offensive talent needed to compete. And trust me, when this team becomes a perennial 6th or 7th place team, goalies like Bishel are not going to want to come here. Bishel's play in net right now is the only consistently solid part of the game. Once you get beyond the elder Slaggert and maybe Nelson, the offense is as inept as any we've seen around here in a long while. This program should not be where it is in 2024. The longer this goes the harder it is going to be to turn it around.
