Why spell out/speak the words verification, validation, development, requirements, user interface, etc. (oops, sorry, "etcetera") repeatedly when there are common abbreviations or acronyms that have become universally understood within the industry? That's simply asinine.
We substitute obscure Latin and French phrases for plain English instead.
