That I have only seen four of them, and got those four correct. So that's 100%, right?
The Disaster Artist. That’s how good Franco was at playing Wiseau.
Bet you have good skills with a bow staff, don't you?
You da Porp, man!
because I am an inveterate nerd.

Hat tip to you for including Red Rock West, which is as underrated as they come, particularly in the Nic Cage canon. John Dahl has such a confounding film career. Two really great ones, a couple of decent ones, and some stinkers. Good TV career, though. A friend of mine had a tiny speaking role in Joy Ride. Said Dahl was great to work with.
Red Rock West
edit: Also sent a pic of the other one to my friend who's a far bigger film nut than I am, and he immediately replied 'Exiled, 2006'.

Edit: That's 3,000 Miles to Graceland and it was Costner, not Nicholas Cage. That means 15 must be ... Gone in 60 Seconds hell if I know.

I'm kind of a movie amateur and hadn't even heard of it until recently. I watched the preview and was... uh... wtf was that. I know Lynch is a weird dude but that seems odd even for him. Is it good? For the record I liked Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks.
but your way works too.
Criterion describes it as "An episode of 'Scooby Doo' as directed by Mario Bava."
I say that description is pretty good. The particular episode of Scooby Doo would be, "The gang drops acid and takes on Evil Dead"... as directed by Mario Bava.
I definitely need to see it.
to know that I need to watch this as soon as possible
Eraserhead at the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee back in the early 80's (a double-bill with "A Boy and His Dog"!) and that is unquestionably the weirdest movie I have ever seen. I have more or less erased it from my brain but I am sure some of it would come back with a visit to YouTube.
The showing started with a Pink Panther short and that's when it got smoky in the theater (and it wasn't from Marlboro's).
The movie is unusual. It is also very personal. Lynch was going through some shit. It has psychological depth, however, it is not entertaining in the traditional sense.
I don't think most movie goers would enjoy the experience, but plenty of people think it's great.
EDIT: I think a movie like Persona is a better barometer than Blue Velvet or Twin Peaks.
If you like Lynch, you'll like it.
If you think Lynch is too weird, then you probably won't.
Haven't seen Persona. I like a lot of bizarre art, I might give it a shot. To be clear, my reaction wasn't "wtf this looks awful" it was "wtf... tell me more". I'll probably check it out at some point soon here.
Go with your gut.
Know where I find success?
Voices. Lots of times when I hear a commercial voiceover, or cartoon, I think, 'Now . . . who's voice is that? I know I know who's voice that is.' I think on it for a while, then it comes to me.
My proudest get is when I was watching Apocalypse Now and the boat stops before the bridge to get orders. A man is waiting on the shore to hand the orders to Willard and a few words are exchanged and I just knew I'd heard the voice before. It was very distinctive. But I just couldn't place it.
Finally, FINALLY!!! I got it. It was Christopher Walken. But it actually wasn't Christopher Walken. It was his brother, Glenn Walken.
Maybe someone will put together a quiz of sound files, not gifs. And when that day comes, I will shine.
Here is my pathetic attempt:
5, 6, & 7: I know I've seen them, but can't recall
13: Lost Boys
15: Road House (?)
16: Heathers (?)
17: Burn After Reading
18: Predator (?)
19: That terrible movie that James Franco, Jonah Hill, and Seth Rogan made a movie about the making of.
See? Awful.
8) Can't remember the name, but I wanted to say it was quite horrible. How that cast led to such a shitshow is beyond me.
11) One of the Scream movies, I think. I'll just go with Sream.
12) Kung Fu Hustle. For me, the best movie on this list.
13) Lost Boys
16) Dazed and Confused
17) Burn After Reading
18) Predator
19) The Room
20) A glorious Nic Cage flick, of which the name escapes me
22) Clue (?)
23) Super (?) - I know the name is something like that.
25) An even more glorious Nic Cage flick, of which the name escapes me. I think it is a woman's name, but I could be confused by the gloriousness.
