It wasn't just the asinine game plan and lining up in the shotgun. It was the complete lack of adjustment made during the game when the rain was blowing sideways. Maybe after one or two series the coaches would have figured out that they needed a different plan. But no, we got that shitshow instead for the entire game. My sons are still pissed at us for taking them to that game.

Be the only people in the parking lot......literally. To tailgate for three hours listening to music with a ‘water/rain’ theme, to stand in a downpour in 75 degree weather and eat brats. Damn great fun. And then I got to see two of my three sons get escorted out of the stadium for sneaking beers in. That whole day was awesome.

Awesome except for the incredible stupidity displayed by Doorknob Kelly. The only dumber thing than that game plan was when he went for two against Northwestern. THAT was his dumbest move ever.

The only positive from the boy's perspective

were the brats and donuts they got while seeking refuge from the weather in your car. Otherwise it sucked, but it was memorable.
