We received the email today that our club tickets are being cancelled and refunded (Arkansas Game). We were initially told that even if individual tickets were not going to be sold, they were considering allowing club tickets. No more.

Just got my refund for the UW game from the Packers

Definitely won’t be spending that money on ND football this year.

I’ll go 3 to 1 against

I think that's pretty optimistic

I'd say it's 3 to 1 against having any games at all, but much longer odds of anything resembling an actual season. I could see the SEC moving heaven and earth to try and stage a few games, but beyond that, it doesn't compute.

I expected it based on previous indications...

...that the priorities would be students and then season ticket holders. I've been fairly bombarded by emails about signing up for season tickets. I don't know if that portends a change starting in '21 to the ticket allocation system. Anyway, once they spread the students out, if that's what they plan on doing, there won't be enough room for a whole lot of other attendees.

We weren't planning on going to any games this year anyway, once the pandemic hit.

but, in this day and age, (given the supply) there is absolutely no reason to contribute soley for access to football tickets.

I am thinking they "roll" the lottery status to 2021.

Perhaps that's just wishful thinking though - it would cost them some donations in late 2020.

Unless they're going to offer season tickets through the lottery.
Never fear though "The University is evaluating options for lottery eligibility for the 2021 season" whatever that means.

It means

They are deciding whether one year’s donations will be eligible for lottery a season later than usual, given no tickets this year. Versus requiring another donation the following year.

That's what I expected

Not too surprised

I was hoping they would have some single game ticket offerings, maybe limiting people to 2 tickets for one game only.
